a. What is the linear tangential velocity of the hammerhead? 
b. What is the radial acceleration of the hammerhead?

ω = (1200°/s)(π/180°) ≅ 20.94 rad/s 

 

v = rω = (1.3 m)(20.94 rad/s) ≅ 27.22 m/s

a = v²/r = (27.22 m/s)² / (1.3 m) = 569.94 m/s²
