conversion factors

Can't figure this question out. Could you walk me through it? Thanks!

In France, grapes are 1.80 Euros per kilogram. What is the cost of grapes in dollars per pound, if the exchange rate is 1.38 dollars per Euro?

1 kg = 2.2046226218 pounds
Most will just use  1 kg = 2.2 pounds
 
(1.8 E/kg)(1.38 $/E)(1/2.2 kg/pound) = $1.13 per pound
