Hi Maria from Arlington...hope you had a great day at school. Ooooo...explanation problems...everyone's favorite?! Not!!!
Anyway...let me just say...I will start you off with some hints...I won't answer it for you...but I'll help you get started.

Let's start by making sure you understand the question. What is the question asking you to do? What math operation do we do when we work to find the product of an equation? Well...I'll give you this answer...we multiply.
One good way to think of this is to remember back in 3 grade...maybe 4th grade? when we began to learn to multiply.
Did your teacher use beans, buttons, blocks, pegs...to group things in sets of equal numbers. Remember that?
So now, think of explaining to a classmate of how to get the total of let's say...72 Legos. We could count one by one all the Legos until we get our total, RIGHT?!
Think about how we could find the total of Legos, but in groups of what??
Try and answer the problem...if you still need help....contact me on Wyzant...I can give you the answer, however by giving you the tools it will give you more confidence and skill to answer these and other problems involving multiplication, factoring, and finding multiples.
Don't forget...let me know if you need further help
Jon...see you on WyzAnt
