 Two friends were going to visit colleges in Washington state. Carol drove 350 miles to visit Washington state university.  Amy drove 15 miles further than 1/3 the distance Carol drove to visit Central Washington University. How far did Amy Drive?

d = (1/3)350 + 15

d = 116 2/3 + 15

d = 131 2/3 miles
