A rectangular prism is a box with w=3, l=9, h=4. The volume of a box is l*w*h, so the model tractor-trailer has a volume of 3*9*4 = 108 cubic inches.
So the scale of the model is 1:33 means that if the model had a volume of 1 cubic in, the actual would have a volume of 33 cubic inches. This is found by taking the model's "1" and mutiplying it by the actual's "33".
So if the model is 108 cubic inches, multiply that by 33 to get the actual volume.
108 * 33 = 3,564 cubic inches
