Hi Daniel,
This is actually has a pretty simple solutions.
To calculate the number of possibilities, you simply multiply 12 and 100.
So, there are 1200 possibilities.
If the first color is RED (R), then 100 of the possibilities are R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, ..., R98, R99, R100.
If the second color is BLUE (B), then 100 of the possibilities are B1, B2, B3, B4, ..., B98, B99, B100.
Similarly, the list for the other ten colors will have 100 possibilities. So, all together, there are 1200 possibilities.
