Please show process of how answer is achieved. I already have the answer but I don't have a clue how it was calculated.

David is correct.  But, for yourself, look

at the logic.  You are basically asked:

2806 is what percent of 489?  As an

equation this is:

 

2806 = (x/100)(489)

 

x = 2806(100)/489 = 573.82%

 

This is an increase of 473.82%
