A family takes a trip to the beach, Getting to their destination took them 5 hours because of traffic. Returning they got home in four hours going 15mph faster. What speed were they going on their way home?

since the distance remains the same for both going to the beach and coming from the beach, and distance = speed x time, you can rewrite the problem as an equation:

5(x-15) = 4x
