the sum of an angle amd three times it's complement is 66 degrees more than it's supplement. Find the measure of the angle.

if the angle is called x, then its complement is 90 - x, and the supplement is 180 - x

 

x + 3(90 - x) = (180 - x) + 66

 

x + 270 - 3x = 246 - x

 

270 - 2x = 246 - x

 

270 = 246 + x

 

x = 24 degrees
