7+7÷7+7×7-7=56???

Question

I get 56 but alot of ppl get 50. And there's equal amount of ppl who get 56. Is this due to the ppl who get 56 live in the UK? Maybe we are taught maths in a different way at school?

You need to consider the order of operations:

 

PEMDAS:  Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction

 

7+7÷7+7×7-7 = 7+1+49-7 = 50
