Hi,
First you need to write and balance the equations for each reaction:
FeO + O2 ----> Fe2O3
Fe3O4 + O2 ---> Fe2O3
Once the reactions are balanced, you can easily calculate the number of mols Fe2O3 formed form 0.50 mol FeO and 0.50 mol Fe3O4. Using the balanced reactions, i calculated that a total of 1.0 mol Fe2O3 will form from the mixture.
