20x - 4x^2 = 28x + 21 => 4x^2 + 8x +21=0; solving the quadratic we have: a=4; b=8; c=21

solving we obtain x1= (-2+√(17)*i)/2 and x2= (-2-√(17)*i)/2

(5-X ) / X - 7/ X = -3/4

 

 (-2 -X ) = -3/4

 

4 ( -2 - X ) = -3 

 

-8 - 4x = -3
