how would I do this problem? I don't know how to go about it to solve it. I got a final today but don't know how to do it.

Maybe it wants to break the whole expression to product of its prime factors.

 

   84 * 56 * 84 =

 

 

  ( 84 ) ^2  * 56 =

 

  ( 2^2 . 3 . 7 )^2 * ( 2^3 .7) =

 

  (  2^4 . 3 ^2 . 7 ^2)  * ( 2^3 . 7 )=

 

  2^7 . 3 ^2 . 7^3  = 395136     / This is the expression as product of its prime factors.

The Produce Rule is for Calculus (taking derivatives), but the problem stated isn't Calculus.

 

If this is a simple arithmetic (multiplication) problem, then 84 x 56 x 84 can be done on a calculator:

     84 x 56 = 4,707. Then 4,704 x 84 = 395,136.
