Experienced what? You can't have guidance - you can receive it, and you can ask for it, but guidance cannot be held. It would also be from a person of experience, not of a person who has experience(d). As far as the type of sentence this is, I would consider it a fragment because of the word experienced - in other words, it is unfinished!! It is helpful, is a simple sentence - other than that, the rest is just phrases - oh yeah, guidance is with an a not an e. How about this - It is helpful to receive guidance from a person with experience. Simple sentence.
