the local business club has 225 members. its rules state that a two-thirds majority is need to amend the bylaws. a certain fraction has been determined that it can count on 109 votes. how many more votes does it need to pass its amendment?

         The number of members needed to amend the bylaws is 225*2/3=150. If there are 109 that can be counted on then 150-109 = 41 more members are needed to have a 2/3 majority.
