Hello Danina,
It's good that you're looking into scholarship opportunities. because you are from Germany, I would suggest contacting Germany's government's Department of Education to see if they are aware or have resources to inform you of scholarship opportunities for studying abroad at a United States educational institution.
Secondly, when searching which Us-based schools you are looking to apply to, you could contact the school's Admissions and/or Financial Aid office, in addition to looking at the school's website, to inquire about which scholarship opportunities are available to you.
Generally, your German citizenship may prevent you from bring eligible for certain scholarships and/or US-sourced financial aid. Alternatively, there may be scholarships that require German citizenship. Each school will usually have a booklet or information for applying international students.
I would recommend you search diligently for any and all scholarship opportunities and carefully look at each individual scholarship's requirements.
Good Luck!
Carlos
