how do i find the factors in polynomials

I have a worksheet on using distributive property it says to factor each polynomial but i dont know how.
here is one of the polynomials 7x+49
How do i factor it?

Is to find a common factor for all the terms of the polynomial and take it out multiplying as a factor for the ENTIRE polynomial.
In this case the common factor will be 7 so the factored polynomial will be 7*(X + 7). if you multiply the terms inside the brackets times the common factor you will get again the original equation.
