Naomi, You just plug the numbers -2, -1, 0, 1 to the polynomials to substitute X. When X = -2, P(-2) = 4 (-2)^6 -3(-2)^2 + (-2) -2 = 4(64)-3(4)-2-2 = 240 When X =-1, P(-1) = 4(-1)^6 -3(-1)^2 +(-1)-2 =4(1)-3(1)-1-2 = -2 When X = 0, P(0) = 4(0)^6-3(0)^2 +(-0)-2 = -2 When X =1, P(1) = 4(1)^6-3(1)^2 +1-2 = 4-3+1+2 = 4
