Find mass of unknown metal

What mass of an unknown metal is required to raise the temperature of water from 25°C to 30°C if the heat released is 2730J and the specific heat of the metal is 4.71J/g°C?

I think this question is incomplete.  One needs to know the temperature of the unknown metal, as well as the mass of the water that is changing from 25º  to 30º C.  Then, one can use q = mC?T for the metal and the water, where q = heat, m = mass, C = specific heat, and ?T = change in temperature.

The heat lost by the metal must equal the heat gained by the water, but without knowing the initial temperature of the metal and the mass of the water, this cannot be calculated.

Teacher got back to me and says the question should have said "temperature of metal" instead of "temperature of water".
