This one is a stumper for me. The profit in dollars of the sale of x expensive watches is P(x)=0.03x^2-3x-6x^0.4-4000. Find for x=400, x=2000,x=5000, x=10000

Precisely. Any time you see an x in the equation, put in one of the given values for x - for example, if x = 400, then the equation should read P(400)=0.03(400)^2-3(400)-6(400)^0.4-4000. Do this with each given value for x.
