Assuming you will wax an area A of 143 feet x 3 feet (36 inches = 3 feet),
A = 143 x 3 ft2 = 429 ft2
Divide the area by the number of square feet per gallon of wax, and get the number of gallons of wax that you need.
N = A / (2000 ft2 / gallon) = (429 ft2) / (2000 ft2 / gallon) = 0.2145 gallons of wax
