Im going to guess that sm and ab are intersecting lines that form two pairs of verticle angles. The angle exactly across from 70 will also be 70, and the other pair will each be 110, because 110 + 70 gives you the 180 degrees of a straight line. (Supplementary angles)

Spelling correction: VERTICAL angles.
GEOMETRY NOTATION: Points are given capital letters as names, never lower case letters.
In Mathematics, everyone must honor original problem labeling conventions, whether in Geometry or Algebra, or above--students are not free to ignore or revise upper and lower cases at their whim.
 
When students submit problems, and they violate conventions or include ambiguities or are incomplete, I think that we do well to point out their lack of precision and/or clarity, in order to cajole them into best practice and methodology. As educators, we owe them this.
