So this is what Mark M is asking.
There are 2 possible scenarios.
1 If the person wears the shirt and puts it in the laundry, not the closet, the answer will be
4/8 for the first blue shirt multiplied by 3/7 for the second blue shirt since one blue shirt has been used and not
returned to the closet. The final answer would be 12/56 or 3/14.
2 If the person wore the shirt then returned it to the closet and then chose a different blue shirt, the probability would
be 4/8 * 3/8. There are 3 different blue shirts that he hasn't worn yet but since you returned the shirt to the closet,
There are still 8 shirts to choose from. The final answer would be 12/64 or 3/16.
Your teacher probably meant the first case, but the problem really isn't stated clearly enough. I hope you can see the difference in the 2 cases.
