how do you solve a quadratic equation by completing the square if the equation is not equal to 0?

How do you sove this eqation x2- 4x - 91 = 7 by completing the square?

Kay G.

If you're used to starting these with it equaling 0, just subtract 7 from both sides and make it equal 0:
x2-4x -91 -7 = 7 - 7
x2-4x -98 = 0
And go from there.
