If you followed Parviz's advice, you might find...
Q is all fractions
Z is all integers
U is the universal set of all values
⊆ means "is a subset of"
∪ means "union" ("OR" statement)
∪ means "union" ("OR" statement)
^ could mean "intersect" ("AND") although, it is usually rounded in shape if ∪ is round
So, I'm not sure what that last one means.
Integers do count as fractions.

Yeah, I was thinking it might mean what I know as xc or x', the complement or prime.
