How many rolls will it take to cover the wall?

A wall to be papered is three times as long as it is wide. The total area to be covered is 192ft^2. Wallpaper comes in rolls that are 2 feet wide by 8 feet long. How many rolls will it take to cover the wall?

Since each roll has area 16 sq ft, and 16 goes into 192 sq ft exactly 12 times, I think you had better order 12 rolls.

Ordering an extra one, in case there are any mistakes that ruin a roll or a part of a roll, the prudent DIYer will order 13 rolls.
