A rectangle garden measures 26 ft by 51 ft . Surrounding and bordering the garden is a path 3 ft wide . Find the area of this path .

Be sure to include correct unit . Someone help ☹️

the path surrounding the garden is 3ft on each side so  it is 26ft + 3 ft (top) + 3ft ( bottom) =  32ft not 29ft 
and the same for the width 51ft + 3 + 3 = 57ft 
so the area of the rectangular garden with the path is  = 32ft * 57ft = 1824 ft2
