Hi,
use the mole ration from the reaction equation:
- Fe:Cl2:FeCl3 = 2:3:2. This means that 2 moles of Fe reacts with 3 moles of Cl2 to form 3 moles of FeCl3. The ratio for this reaction does NOT change.
Next: 11 mol of Fe reacts with 3/2*11 = 16.5 moles of Cl2. You only have 15 moles of Cl2, so Cl2 is the limiting agent.
15 moles of Cl2 reacts with (2/3)*15= 10 moles of Fe. After the reaction 1 mole of Fe is leftover.
