y= 1000

 

A = xy/100

 

B = y% of x

 

B = 1000% of 50

x = 50

y = 1000

B = 500

 

B = xy/100

So, xy = 100A and xy = 100B

 

Therefore, 100A = 100B

 

So, A = B
