PLZ note that "Polynomials" was selected as a tag.  There is more to this question than simply getting an answer.  The dimensions given are what I call "magic numbers" -- values that make computations easy so that the student may concentrate on the procedure.  Suppose the volume of the box is 39 ft3; what would do then?
