A B C enter in a partnership A contributes one third of the whole capital while B contributes as much as A and C together contributes if the profit at the end of the year is Rs 84000 how much would each receive?

 

let us say x is whole capital

 

A =x(1/3)

B=2x/3

 

1/3 of whole capital so remaining capital is 2x/3 of whole capital

A = 1/3                         (1)

 

B + C = 1- 1/3 = 2/3      (2)

 

B = A + C                      (3)

 

(A + C) + C = 2/3

 

1/3 + 2C = 2/3

 

C = 1/6

 

B = 1 - 1/6 -1/3 = 1/2

 

A = 1/3, B = 1/2 and C = 1/6
