Hello Courtney.
This is a question asking whether you understand the term odds in favor or against. It is basically the ratio of the probability of something happening to the probability of something not happening. In the above example, the odds in favor are simply 5/9:4/9 = 5:4.
When you hear that the odds are 2:1 for, it means that it is twice as likely to happen (2/3 probability for : 1/3 probability against). 2:1 for is the same as 1:2 against.
