The trick is in the word "complete." A complete scale drawing of an object, i.e. a brick, would show the brick in three views: side, end, and top. In that case you could find the size of the object in all three dimensions. Alternatively if the drawing is a map, such as a drawing of a city block including several buildings, you could find the length and width of each building but not the height.
