a square and an equilateral triangle

the length of a side of a square is x cm.
the length of a side of the equilateral triangle is 2cm more than the length of a side of the square.
the perimeter of the square is equal to the perimeter of the equilateral triangle.
work out the perimeter of the square.

Why has my answer been given a 'thumbs down'. It is correct. The tutor who gave today's answer gives the square's edge length, not perimeter.
