f(x) = 2x3 + 5x2 - 7x + 19
g(x) = 5x - 13
f o g(x) = 2(5x - 13)3 + 5(5x - 13)2 - 7(5x - 13) + 19
g o f(x) = 5(2x3 + 5x2 - 7x + 19) - 13

I just wish they would settle on a single format.
Personally, I find f(g(x)) much less ambiguous
than f o g(x).  Neither here nor there, I suppose.

Andrew, I agree! f(g(x)) is the form with which I am familiar. Then I learned it before the "New Math."
