Solve EQ1 for A  and substitue into EQ2

 

A = 32-B

 

30(32-B) + 35B = 1050

 

960 - 30B + 35B = 1050

 

5B = 90

 

B = 18

 

Therefore A = 14 by EQ1

 

14 pair of brand A and 18 pair of brand B were sold
