As Gregg said:

f-1(x) = ±√(x+1)

This is not a function because for a given value of x
there can be more than one value of f(x)

How do you go from f(x)=(x-1) / (x+1) to y=(x-1)(x+1)? Why wouldn't it be y=(x-1) / (x+1)?
