5M = 3(M + 18)                     produce means/extremes

5M = 3M + 54

2M = 54

M = 27

 

P : M :: 1 : 3

P : 27 :: 1 : 3

3P = 27             product means/extremes

P = 9

 Phoebe has =x

Monica has=3x

3x + 18 =5x
