Getting Results for Reluctant Students
Theoretical yield indicates the amount of product formed in the reaction in a perfect world. When you are calculating amounts of products using stoichiametry, you are calculating theoretical yield.
There should be a starting amount of a reactant for you to work with in this problem. Without it the only answer you can give is the coefficient in front of 3CO2= 3 moles of CO2
