There are 1000 meters in 1km, and 39.37 inches in a meter.

 

There are 60 minutes in an hour, and 60 seconds in a minute.

 

So 120km x 1000m x 39.37in = 4724400 inches

 

and

 

1hr x 60mins x 60secs = 3600 seconds

 

4724400/3600 = 1312.3

 

So 120km/hr = 1312.3 in/sec
