how to make my presentation creative

I have to do a presentation in my college writing class on a book we read about farming. The category I get to present on is the decline in migrant farm workers in a certain area. My presentation needs to be creative. I'm bored with powerpoint any ideas on what to do for my presentation?

Does the presentation need to be on powerpoint?  Or can you use another platform?  If you can use something else, have you tried Prezi?  It's a different way of presenting and has different transitions than powerpoint.  It might give the presentation a more "interactive" feel instead of simply going through slides.  Hope this helps!
