In your second sentence, the third word (on) should be deleted.

 

Ue a proportion:  model:actual  1 cm/0.3 m = 18.2cm/x   ⇐ Solve for x, which will be in meters, length of real car

 

Similarly, the same ratio 1 cm/0.3 m = 6.9cm/y   ⇐ Solve for y, which will be in meters, width of real car.
