if small peaches are 15 pence each how many can you buy for £5

My teacher asked me to solve it but I have no idea... Please help!!

There are 100 pence in 1 pound, so 500 pence in 5 pounds

 

If a small peach is 15 pence, then you can buy how many for 500 pence.

 

500÷15 = 33 ⅓ 

 

You can't buy ⅓ of a peach, so the answer is 33 peaches
