I need help with this proof!

Given: B is the midpoint of AC and DL 
 
Prove: Triangle ADB and Triangle CLB are congruent

How do you know that ∠ABD and ∠CBL are vertical angles?

If B is the midpoint of both AC and DL then these two segments 
intersect at the point B, making the two angles vertical.  If there
were a picture, it would be that much easier.  I have worked 
problems very similar, if not the same, as this one for many
years.
