DIVISION PROBLEM I THINK! HELP

Maria is planting a row of flowers in a bed 112 feet long. The instructions say to space the plants 1 foot apart. The flowers come in flats containing 6 plants per flat.

Although you failed to write a question, I am guessing that it is 'how many flats should Maria buy to fill up the row of flowers in the flower bed.'

 

This will require 111 plants; dividing 111 by 6 and rounding up, we get the quotient 19.  Three plants will be left over from the 19th flat.
