So, Ayline, distance = rate x time, right? If they meet, they've combined to travel 174k.

 

3x + 3(x + 10) = 174

3x + 3x + 30 = 174

6x = 144

x = 24

 

The slower cyclist rides 24 mph. The faster, 34 mph.
