True.  A fictional story may contain some facts that you may learn.  For example, consider a fictional story with a historical setting in medieval England, in the times of Richard the Lionheart, Robin Hood, King John, or the Magna Carta.  The story may contain factual historic events that you can learn about, even though the plot and characters may be fictitious.  You might still learn some facts about what life was like in medieval England.  The novel Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott comes to mind.
