Name the property that justifies the statement

-9+4(4+x)=(-9+4)+x

As written the equation is false. No property could justify it.

If you assume that the correct statement of the equation is,
-9+(4+x)=(-9+4)+x
then the equation is an example of the Associative Property of Addition.
