we can split this up into 2 parts

 

volume of the hemispherical base = 2pir^3 / 3

 

= 2 pi (5)^3 / 3

 

 

= 250 pi / 3

 

Volume of the cone = 1/3 * pi * (25) * 12 

 

= 100 pi

 

Total lead needed = 100 pi + 250pi /3

 

= 550 pi / 3  cm^3
