The city's high school is 4 blocks east of a grocery store. The city's library is 6 blocks of the grocery Store. The city's library is 6 blocks east of the grocery store. A student walks to the library after school and then walks to the grocery store a few hours later. Which of the following is a number of miles this student has walked?

The student has walked from the school to the library which is 2 blocks.  The student then walks from the library to the store which is another 6 blocks.  2+ 6 = 8 total blocks walked.   8 X .25 = 2.0 miles walked.
